Wow, terrific job, I love the idea, and the execution of it is incredible, the painting you have done here is definately worth more than the points I can give.

Great job on the backdrop as well.

Very nice !

Might have been cool to had a little touch of color somewhere... nothing big... just a little touch...

Excellent. You seem to have good light/shadow skills, and the way you painted the rocks are kick-ass. Yep, agree with Kemp -it could have been interesting to see a touch of some other colour, but I don't know quite how though...

Anyway, you get all my points. You've done a good job. +10/10

Excellent monochromatic work. You should write a tutorial on lighting or painting rocks sometime.

My only crit is I personally think the skull is too bright, but that's just me. I like it when things lurk in the darkness of paintings & such.

it is excellent artwork, + 9 ... though I wonder about the environment or if it is just 'insect-like' and not actually an insect; people love scifi/horror of giant insects, but they're simply not possible--their respiratory system is so primitive that the amount of work they have to do to haul themselves around that to get too big would like a human being trying to have a weight lifiting session or high-edurance workout at the top of mt. everest... there just isn't enough oxygen to support it... hence insects remaining quite small... but in fantasy imagry, that is neither here nor there... just a little known nitpick =)

Full marks. Maybe the sky could be a tad different in hue, to bring the contrast out more.

Great image, well done. You're rendering of the rocks is spot on. I'd have made the wings a little translucent though...

Good work

Argghh, amazing job!!!!! that insect-like is wonderfully painted, can't stop looking at the details. The backgroud works nice to me too, and not to mention those beautifully carved rocks... damn great.
